A gentle disclaimer
Hi — Stacy here. Before you settle in with anything from the library, I want to be honest about what these resources are, and what they aren't. This page exists not to scare anyone off, but to make sure no one feels alone if they need more than a worksheet can give.
Educational & informational only
Every resource on this site — the SEL printables, therapeutic games, escape rooms, executive-function tools, courses, and Piper, our friendly resource concierge — is created for educational and informational purposes.
They're designed to support social-emotional learning, self-awareness, regulation, resilience, and curiosity. They are not a clinical assessment, a treatment plan, or a substitute for personalized care.
Not a substitute for therapy or diagnosis
Reading a worksheet, playing a game, or chatting with Piper is not therapy. Even though many of these tools come from clinical experience, using them does not create a therapist–client relationship between you and Stacy or Creative Resilience Counseling.
If you (or a child, student, or client you support) are working through something difficult, please consider connecting with a licensed mental health professional in your area. They can offer the individualized assessment, diagnosis, and treatment that no downloadable resource can.
If you need help right now
This site is not built for emergencies, and Piper cannot respond to crisis situations. If you or someone you love is in danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, please reach out to a real human who can help right now:
- 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (US & Canada) — call or text 988, or visit 988lifeline.org.
- Crisis Text Line — text HOME to 741741 in the US, or visit crisistextline.org for international options.
- Emergency services — dial your local emergency number (911 in the US) or go to your nearest emergency room.
- Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline — 1-800-422-4453.
You deserve real, immediate support. Please don't wait.
Individual results vary
Every brain, body, and family is wonderfully different. A tool that lights one kid up may not be the right fit for another, and that's okay. Take what helps, leave what doesn't, and trust your own knowing of the people you support.
About Piper, our chat concierge
Piper is an AI assistant that helps you find the right resource from the library. Piper is not a therapist, not a clinician, and not a crisis responder. Conversations are used only to generate your reply and improve recommendations — see our Privacy Policy for details.
A final, soft note
If you're here because something is hard right now — for you, for a child, for a client, for a classroom — I'm so glad you came looking. Please use these tools as part of a bigger circle of care that includes real, human support. You're not meant to do any of this alone.
