Refund Policy
Most of our products are downloadable digital files, which means refunds work a little differently than physical goods. Here's how we handle the most common situations — clearly, kindly, and without hoops.
Digital download policy
Once a digital resource has been downloaded, it generally can't be "returned" the way a physical item can. Because of that, all sales of downloadable resources are considered final at the time of download.
We work hard to make every product page accurate — with previews, page counts, sample images, and clear descriptions — so you can feel confident before you click Buy. If something on a product page is unclear, please ask first; we're happy to share more previews.
Accidental purchases
We've all done it — wrong tab, double-click, autofill mishap. If you've made a purchase by mistake and haven't downloaded the file yet, email us within 48 hours with your order number and we'll do our best to issue a refund through the storefront where you bought it.
If the file has already been downloaded, we generally can't refund it — but please reach out anyway. We'd rather hear about it than leave you frustrated.
Duplicate purchases
If you bought the same resource twice (often a result of two devices or two accounts), we'll refund the duplicate, no questions asked. Just send us your order number(s) and we'll sort it out with the storefront.
Subscriptions & courses
For ongoing subscriptions or multi-module courses (when these launch):
- You can cancel a subscription anytime — future billing stops immediately.
- Already-paid periods are non-refundable, but you keep access for the full period you've paid for.
- For self-paced courses, refund eligibility is described on the course's purchase page (typically a 7-day window before significant content has been accessed).
Damaged or missing files
If the file you downloaded is broken, missing pages, or wildly different from what was described, that's on us. Send us a quick note with your order number and a screenshot of the issue, and we'll either fix the file and resend it, or issue a full refund — your call.
Storefront-specific notes
Because most of our products are sold through partner storefronts, refunds are actually processed by them. The high-level summary:
- Teachers Pay Teachers — refund and credit decisions are handled by TpT directly. See their refund help center. We can advocate on your behalf if needed.
- Gumroad — refund requests are submitted from the order receipt email and reviewed against Gumroad's policy. We can also process them from our seller dashboard if you reach out to us first.
- Shopify (coming soon) — refunds will be processed directly by us per the storefront's terms at launch.
Customer support
The fastest way to resolve any refund question is to email us with your order number, the storefront, and a sentence about what happened. We aim to reply within ~2 business days.
