Terms of Use
The basics of how this little workshop works — what you're allowed to do with our resources, what we ask in return, and how we keep things fair for the educators, parents, and clinicians who buy them.
Your agreement with us
By browsing this site, joining the waitlist, or buying a digital product from one of our storefronts, you agree to these Terms of Use. If anything here doesn't sit right with you, please pause before purchasing and reach out — we're happy to clarify.
We may update these terms occasionally to reflect new resources or partner storefronts. The "Last updated" date at the top will always show when changes were made.
Digital product licensing
When you purchase a digital resource (a worksheet pack, SEL game, escape room, course, etc.), you receive a single-user, non-transferable license to use that resource for your own work — whether that's your classroom, your counseling practice, your home, or your own learning.
You may:
- Print or display the resource for use with your own students, clients, or family.
- Reuse it across school years and practice settings.
- Share photos of student/client work that incidentally include the resource.
You may not, without a multi-user or site license:
- Share the file with colleagues, co-workers, or other professionals.
- Upload it to shared drives, learning management systems, or websites where others can download it.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the resource in any form.
Intellectual property
All resources, written content, illustrations, characters (yes, including Piper), and the overall look-and-feel of this site are the intellectual property of Creative Resilience Counseling and its creator, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You're welcome to quote short passages with credit and a link back. You're not welcome to:
- Reproduce substantial portions of any resource without written permission.
- Create derivative works for sale or distribution.
- Use our content to train AI models or scrape it at scale.
- Remove watermarks, credits, or copyright notices.
Educational-only use
All resources on this site are educational and informational. They're built to support social-emotional learning, self-regulation, executive functioning, and therapeutic exploration — but they are not a substitute for individualized therapy, diagnosis, medical care, or crisis services.
Educators, counselors, and therapists are responsible for applying clinical judgment when adapting any resource for a particular student or client. See our full Disclaimer for details.
Refund policy
Because our products are downloadable digital files, refunds are handled by the storefront where you purchased the resource:
- Teachers Pay Teachers — refund and credit policies are managed by TpT directly. See their refund help center.
- Gumroad — refund requests are submitted through the order receipt email and reviewed per Gumroad's policy.
- Shopify (coming soon) — refund terms will be published on the storefront at launch.
If a file is damaged, missing, or wildly different from what was described, please email us and we'll make it right — no hoops.
Acceptable use
Please use this site (and Piper, our chatbot concierge) in ways that keep it a kind, useful place for everyone. That means:
- Don't try to break, scrape, or overload the site or its services.
- Don't use Piper to generate harmful, deceptive, or illegal content.
- Don't impersonate the creator or misrepresent your relationship to this work.
- Don't share content that violates someone else's rights or privacy.
We reserve the right to limit or revoke access to anyone using the site in ways that harm others or the platform itself.
Liability & warranty
Resources are provided "as is" for educational use. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Creative Resilience Counseling is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of any resource on this site.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under your local consumer protection laws.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, please reach out via the contact form on the main site or reply to any email we've sent. A real human will read it.
